EXCURSION TO THE VETERINARY LABORATORY AGROGEN NEW
On September 30, 2020, the head of the Department of Veterinary and Pharmacy Dmytro Morozenko together with graduates of the specialty “Veterinary Medicine” in the discipline “Introduction to the profession” visited the testing laboratory AGROGEN NOVO – a powerful diagnostic center for molecular diagnostics of small pets. Director of the laboratory, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Vitaly Popov at the beginning of the tour gave students a micro-lecture on “Modern methods of molecular biological research”, and a laboratory employee, veterinarian Eugene Smolyaninova told about the basic principles of laboratory diagnosis of animal diseases.
Then the students were shown modern laboratory equipment to perform molecular diagnostic studies of biological material obtained from animals, highlighted the principles of the veterinarian in a modern laboratory.
