The Department of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy was established on September 1, 2020 to conduct educational and research activities under the innovative program “Diseases of small pets” in the specialty “Veterinary Medicine” at the National University of Pharmacy. The head of the department is Dmytro Volodymyrovych Morozenko, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences. The department also provides educational activities at the Faculty of Medical and Pharmaceutical Technologies, Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Training of Foreign Citizens in the following compulsory disciplines: “Biology with the basics of genetics”, “Medical Biology, Parasitology, Genetics” (for educational programs in specialty 226 Pharmacy, “Industrial Pharmacy”), “Histology, cytology and embryology” (for educational and professional programs in the specialty 224 Technologies of medical diagnostics and treatment).
The staff of the department consists of 6 teachers: 2 doctors of veterinary sciences, 3 candidates of veterinary sciences and 1 candidate of biological sciences. Teachers of the department are highly qualified specialists who teach disciplines at a high scientific and methodological level.
